Description
This is a painting of the front porch of a craftsman style house in a nearby town. With its curved brackets at each end of the front porch, it stands out from all the others on the block. Although I added the dog and the people on the porch using my artistic license, almost everything else is exactly as I saw it. I really like the interaction of direct light, reflected light and shadow. The dog adds a playful bit of life to complete the composition.
